Community Grants 2014-2015
Community Grants is a partnership programme between South West Foundation, Learning Curve, The Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund. Funding has been allocated to projects led by Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations to provide those people furthest removed from the labour market, the skills and confidences they need to move forward with their lives.
In partnership with the South West Foundation, the Learning Curve is managing the latest jointly funded European Social Fund and Skills Funding Agency, Community Grant Programme 2014-2015 for the South West Region (excluding Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly).
This Community Grant Programme provides grants of up to £13000 to enable small (yearly turnover less than £300k) Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations to offer projects supporting people furthest removed from the labour market in moving towards employment.
There will be three grant giving rounds, with the first round due to open Monday,17th March 2014, and will close for applications at 3:00pm on Friday, 11th April 2014.
Information seminars are available around the region to support organisations interested in applying for the grants. From our previous experience, attendance is beneficial for background information and knowledge of the requirements of successful grant holders.
Please see Community Grants events for seminar dates, times, venues, and booking your place.
