Third Sector Apprenticeships are brand new training programmes specifically designed for charities and social enterprises to help them make a difference to people and communities. They develop practical skills in three key areas – campaigning, fundraising and volunteer management.

For the first time, charities, social enterprises and other third sector organisations now have frameworks that are designed to develop these practical skills and can be tailored by expert third sector training providers to meet the particular skills that your organisation needs.

Apprenticeships are about producing the next generation of skilled staff to ensure your organisation is ready to meet the demands of the future and depending on eligibility they can be free or subsidised.

Apprenticeships can be offered to new members of staff who you recruit or offered to current employees to develop their careers. Apprenticeships are available in a wide range of areas including core business skills at level 2 and 3 for business administration, customer services, IT users plus the new third sector apprenticeships in volunteer management, fundraising and campaigning.
