There were approximately 235 applications for the current programme of Community Grants. This is an increase of more than 100% on the number of applications for the last round. The grant panel met on the 7th February 2012, all applicants will be notified as soon as possible.
The Learning Curve have organised workshops to provide support to successful applicants. These workshops will run in several locations across the south west in late February and March, the same content will be provided at each.
It is highly recommended that all recipients attend a workshop.
The workshops have been designed to help successful applicants to:
- Complete the required Community Grants paperwork
- Monitor and evaluate their project effectively
- Understand the wider context of learning and training
- Consider how to continue provision after the end of their Community Grant
- Access other information useful to their organisation
