Behaviour Management and Youth Arts

Artswork is pleased to be delivering the established one day course - ‘Behaviour Management and Youth Arts’ in partnership with the Theatre Royal in Plymouth as part of the Artsplan professional development programme.
Artswork is the largest provider of specialist youth arts training courses and publications in the UK and all training and publications are written and supported by experienced youth arts specialists, all of whom are also currently involved in direct project work with young people.
The course looks into improving skills, knowledge and experience in order to develop an understanding of behaviour management and takes a look at the issues and barriers that are faced when undertaking Youth Arts projects.
This course is set up and led by experienced and knowledgeable youth arts specialists. It explores the practical aspects of behaviour management: health and safety issues, risk assessment and achieving key objectives. It aims to promote a style of engaging with young people that encourages positive behaviour to the benefit of all involved.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the course and a wealth of practical resources. There is a special rate fee of £75 per person for this course.
