ChangeUp - Regional Workforce Development Project

The ChangeUp project ran till March 2006 and was led by South West Forum in partnership with Learning Curve.

The project aimed to:

Set up a regional Workforce Development Network
Conduct more comprehensive research and make it more widely available
Commission specific research on skills shortages in the Voluntary and Community Sector.
Develop a draft regional Strategy for Workforce Development in the Voluntary and Community Sector for consultation
Develop a regional prospectus and signposting service outlining the training, learning and development opportunities available across the region for both paid and unpaid workers in the Voluntary and Community Sector
Encourage the development of learning opportunities across the region so that all voluntary and community sector organisations have access to appropriate workforce development opportunities

The project was being taken forward by the Workforce Development Co-ordinator Zoe Rattenbury of South West Forum.
